Vin joined Two Sigma Ventures in 2023 with a focus on early-stage investments across a variety of verticals including Artificial Intelligence, B2B SaaS, Infrastructure, and Developer Tools.
Prior to joining Two Sigma Ventures, Vin spent a decade at startups, large companies, and academia working as a data scientist, early stage engineer, and product manager. Vin built large-scale AI products at Google, Apple, and Amazon and was a founding engineer at B2B SaaS and Infrastructure startups spun out of MIT (Celect acq. Nike) and Stanford (Clockwork Systems). Additionally, he worked as a product manager for cloud computing projects at NASA and has taught courses on Machine Learning and Entrepreneurship.
Vin earned his PhD and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University where he performed research on NLP and authored peer reviewed research in the top AI conferences. He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Vin lives in San Francisco and enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and skiing.
