Ann joined Two Sigma in 2001 as the founding Head of Human Resources and played a key role in shaping Two Sigma’s organization as it grew from a startup to the business it is today.
She has spent her career focused on building human capital capabilities across high-growth finance and technology companies, making her an invaluable resource to Two Sigma Ventures’ diverse set of portfolio companies. Ann advises portfolio company leadership teams on a broad range of organization-building and talent challenges to accelerate their growth and success.
After earning her BA in psychology from Dartmouth College and a Master’s degree in counseling from New York University, Ann launched her business career at the intersection of finance and technology at D. E. Shaw & Co. (1994-2000). Currently, she lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two children, and one dog and serves on the board of Girl Rising.
