x.ai is an artificial-intelligence-driven personal assistant that combines machine learning and human intelligence to schedule meetings. Users interact with the x.ai persona Amy or Andrew in the same way they would a live assistant—copying x.ai on the email thread when ready to schedule a meeting. The interface for users is simple, but on the back end, x.ai’s underlying software is a complex system of algorithms that parse and annotate email text, perceive participant intent, anticipate a call to action, and predict the best response. x.ai was acquired by Bizzabo in June of 2021.
